Ron W. Rawlings
Principal

Ron W. Rawlings is principal and founder of Dallas Financial Wholesalers. He began his career as an outside wholesaler for a large national insurance company. In this position he was responsible for distribution of fixed annuities and universal life insurance in the broker dealer channel.

While working as outside wholesaler for a national insurer, Ron could offer products and services from only one insurance company. Realizing that one insurer could not provide the best solutions for every client, Ron founded Dallas Financial Wholesalers in 1988.

Ron has served on the Board of Directors for the Financial Planning Association, the industry’s professional trade group for Certified Financial Planners. He is also active in supporting the industry through the National Association of Insurance & Financial Advisors, the National Association for Fixed Annuities and the Insured Retirement Institute.

Ron served on President Bush’s Business Advisory Council and the Presidential Business Commission. He is on the advisory board of major insurance companies and was recognized in 2003 as Texas Businessman of the Year.

As a speaker, Ron has addressed industry groups across the country. His articles and interviews have been featured in the Journal of Financial Planning, the Agent Sales Journal, Insurance Marketing Magazine, Life Insurance Selling, the Wall Street Journal and ABC Evening News.

Ron and his two fabulous German Shepherds make their home in Plano, Texas.
